We are the Wolf Family, a family-run farm based in Valley View, where our passion for livestock, hard work, and family values come together through our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. What began as a small hobby in 2018 quickly grew into a full operation centered around raising productive, structurally correct animals that excel both in and out of the show ring.
Steven and Meredith both grew up around livestock and agriculture, which laid the foundation for their love of animal husbandry and farming. In 2018, they took their first step into the dairy goat world with Nigerian Dwarfs and quickly discovered a passion for the breed, the dairy industry, and the opportunities that come with improving and promoting quality genetics.
Today, our farm is home to a small but dedicated ADGA performance herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. We are committed to raising goats that are not only beautiful and competitive in the show ring, but also productive dairy animals with strong structure, sound udders, and excellent temperaments. Our breeding program focuses on improving conformation, milk production, and overall functionality while maintaining the breed qualities that make Nigerian Dwarfs so special.
As active participants in the dairy goat community, we proudly participate in DHIR testing, ADGA-sanctioned shows, and Linear Appraisal programs. These programs help us evaluate and improve our herd while ensuring we continue striving toward the highest standards in dairy goat performance and structure.
Our operation has grown far beyond showing goats. Along with breeding and showing, we milk our does daily, sell milk for animal consumption, and create products from our goat milk. Every part of our farm reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and responsible animal care.
One of the most important parts of our farm is our family involvement. Our three children play a huge role in the daily care, planning, and work involved in raising our goats. Each child has goats of their own and takes part in making breeding and management decisions, helping them learn responsibility, work ethic, and a passion for agriculture from an early age. Watching them grow alongside our herd has become one of the greatest rewards of this journey.
At the heart of everything we do is a dedication to preserving and improving the Nigerian Dwarf breed while raising healthy, productive, and structurally correct animals that our family — and future generations — can be proud of.
